2nd Day FUN!!

4 07 2008

Yesterday was the second day we met the dean of Taiwan university, Mr. Lee. He gave us this really cool pen that has has a pullout map of taiwan inside of the pen!!!!!!!!!! After that we drove a long way and took pictures and i got some great pictures of us and I also got pictures of Taipei 101. Look it up. Later that night , we went to the night market. It has lots of games  and we ate dinner there. Me, Christina, Yo-yo and tom played basketball and after that we all went to this shoot balloons game. I won a cat and its hand moves and i cheap but real bb gun! I will have to mail it to myself because I don’t think I can bring it on the plane even though its plastic and i would take all the bullets out. I forgot to say, Earlier , Yo-Yo went and took a violin test he is like really really awesome.  I think he could be in an orchestra if he wanted. That’s just my opinion though. He can play Beethoven and all these composers song flawless. It is beautiful. I don’t know if he passed yet though (of course I know he passed because he is sooooo good) because they have to go to England and review it with all these people. He also plays the piano very well. Plus he knows how to play the saxophone but not very much. I will be learning how to play the saxophone in middle school. Anyway, yesterday was the best day so far!

P.S. I like comments so please post them. I will answer any questions. :) :D

Has Yo Yo given you any music lessons? I know you have learned many lessons from the leaders you have met. Keep the updates coming about your days. How was the night market? What was it like? Was it crowded? Did you buy anything?

no yoyo is too good to give me lessons. :) It isn’t a market market they dont have things to buy, only food and games and it was very crowded. It kinda smelled bad but i guess it came with the territory and food. lol.

Diane here, we miss you on the 4th of July. I am sure you have told everyone it is our independence day, they probably would be surprised that our country is only 200 some years old.

We are cooking out later with your mom and heading to the fireworks. Can’t wait to hear more, I am sure you will bring home lots of candy like last time for us to try.

fireworks wern’t all that great. actually we didn’t see them. it started storming, and there was tons of lighting and thunder. then it poured. i guess nature put on its own show! the rain date’s today, so I hope it doesn’t rain like yesterday…
when we were sitting on the lawn waiting there was a guy next to us. he had the biggest dog you have ever seen! it was a Greyhound. I feel sorry for him. the food probaly costs him thousands! the poolparty wasn’t that much fun without you…

Well it is very similar to Japan Julian. Except the subways are not for women on the weekdays between 7:00-9:00. HA HA Julian! (There was a train on the weekdays that was only for women between 7:00-9:00 and he didn’t see the time and he went up to a man on the train and asked him if he was a women!) We have met many people. We met the editor and cheif of the top newspaper, A TV station president, Today we are meeting the head of a hospital here in taiwan, we met thepresident of the best university of taiwan, We met the top legislator and another legilator, we met the vice president, and we met Mr. chein, he is a chairman of a compant that makes computer stuff.
