Travel Update: Ambassadors arrive in Dallas

Our CKSAP team has arrived in Dallas.  They called home and sounded great!  They are on schedule to arrive at RDU at 3:10pm!

 We　are preparing to leave our hotel in Narita and head for the airport.   I will call all four of you when we land in Dallas…which should be around 11 thirty Dallas time.     We will be home in about 18 hours.      Be prepared for us to want to stay up all night….and sleep all day.

Day Off!~We Spend a Whole Day with our Host Family

On Saturday, we visited an aquarium and a beach. When we stepped into the aquarium at around 10:00, I was very surprised. There was a giant glass tank filled to the brim with water, and there were many stingrays in it. Right after we looked at some tropical fish, we went to the dolphin show. There were 5 dolphins, and all of them did complicated flips and revolutions. There was one dolphin named Shelulu who was the star of the show. After the Splash! Dolphin Show, we went downstairs into the touching pool. There were lobsters and fish in the pool. I found out that if you stroke the fish behing the gills or on the tip of their tail, they will calm down since they like it. After the touching pool, we went to see the jellyfish. Illuminated under a flouricent light, the jellyfishes made a pretty viewing. Some jellyfishes’s tentacles were 6 feet long! Then, we went to the gift shop. I got a bunch of pretty souvenirs to give to my friends.
